| AVERAGE STUFF PACK - Scores 3/5
This stuff pack is okay but most of the stuff here is a bit dull. There's nothing much to excite the average Sims 2 player and I feel, as with the other stuff packs this could easily have been added to one of the expansion packs. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 16 APRIL 2009 |

| SIMS2 PLAYER - Scores 3/5
A nice object add-on for Sims2, contains cool/modern IKEA furniture and other items to match. Slightly disappointing in some areas of objects, such as blinds and curtains as there is no change to design or quantity. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 23 FEBRUARY 2009 |

| DISAPPOINTINGLY LIMITED - Scores 2/5
Perhaps I was wrong to expect more from it, but it seemed like there just weren't enough new items in this pack to justify the cost. Colour options are quite limited, so you can't always get the shape of sofa you like, for example, to match the colours in the rest of the room, and a lot of the things that I've seen at Ikea and would want to have appeared in the game weren't included. I think they picked the most popular Ikea products, and though I find it funny that the sims can now have a bookshelf identical to mine, there's not much variety, and the designs chosen are mostly the simpler, boxy ones, rather than anything more daring. Although it's called 'Home stuff', you basically get items for a few styles of living room, study and bedroom - there's nothing for the bathroom or kitchen (so maxis can make more money from another stuff pack, I assume) and so you can't make your whole house in a matching style. The pack could easily have included more (like a kitchen set, or some of the ikea kids' stuff) that would have made the pack more worthwhile to me. The objects are cheap in-game, but not so good at satisfying motives, so the actual sims react badly when you buy them, and fortune sims want it replaced with more expensive stuff that would mess up your carefully planned ikea decor. On the plus side, it comes with two premade houses - good if you're feeling too lazy to furnish one, but nothing amazing - and there's plenty for if you want minimalism or a trendy office. However, I got this cheaply from a friend, and I'm glad that I didn't buy it new, because I think I would have been disappointed at the amount I paid for it. With the variety of user-made objects available online for free, you can easily get item sets more interesting than this without the price tag. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 25 SEPTEMBER 2008 |
